The Sea Bright-Rumson Bridge was built in the 1950s and spans over the Shrewsbury River connecting the town of Rumson to the town of Sea Bright. The bridge is an integral access point to Seabright, as the only other access points are a substantial distance away (Figure 1 and Figure 2).
Due to the weather and site conditions of the area, the bridge is experiencing severe deterioration on almost all structural components. It has been determined that the bridge must be fixed, and the team hopes to find a solution to that problem that is cost effective, efficient, and acceptable to all parties involved.
